OUR CHARISM

A Charism is the original inspiration that enthuses a person to form a Community or Society for a particular purpose.

Jean Pierre Medaille's dream to help establish a Congregation of contemplative-active ordinary women sprang from his appreciation of God's love for all of Creation. It is in this mystery of love that we find our calling. The gift we receive is an experiential discovery that the spirit of God lives in the core of our being. It is God's dream that everyone participates in this Divine life. Our task is to become sensitive and responsive to this indwelling, which leads to union with God, communion with others and the cherishing of all of Creation.
